“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Colossians 3:23-24)

This week is National Volunteer Week. As visitors come to the Library one of the first things they notice are all the volunteers waiting to greet them.

In addition to the staff at the Billy Graham Library, we also have 260 active volunteers that give their time to serve in a variety of areas. Our volunteers welcome guests as they enter the Library or Graham Family Homeplace; they assist guests through the Journey of Faith tour – guiding, directing and answering questions; and they pray with guests in our Prayer Room.

In December, this number nearly doubles as we welcome additional volunteers and groups during our Christmas at the Library celebration and events. Volunteers help with carriage rides, children’s story time, in the bookstore and Dairy Bar, and even in the live Nativity.

We want to say “Thank You” to all the volunteers at the Billy Graham Library.

You can leave a message in the comments for our volunteers and we will share those messages with them.
